BCS Employee Work Philosophy

Our company’s primary reason for existence is to take outstanding care of our customers.  As such, when on duty we exist for our customers, not the other way around. Our primary customer is each resident in one of our facilities.  Even so, we want to treat all others as we would like to be treated – with courtesy and respect, kindness and sincerity and compassion and concern.  This is how that can be accomplished:

  • A Little Extra – The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is what?  A little extra.  That little extra can be anything from a smile, to opening a door for someone, to taking them to their destination instead of giving verbal directions.  Exceed customers’ expectations at every opportunity as you deal with all of our customers.
  • We Care – People don’t care how much we know until they know how much we care.  We do that by showing them what that means every day.  Be nice, considerate, genuine and sincere in your effort to help our customers receive extra value for their money.  Nice works, just try it!
  • Doing Well – Whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well and doing it all the time.
  • Character – The character of our company is reflected in the attitude, integrity and ethics of our employees.  Anyone can be average with these character traits.  Don’t accept average for yourself.
  • Extraordinary & Fanatical Customer Service – Fanatical customer service is not a single act, it is a habit practiced every moment of every day.  We can’t just give great service today and then provide average service the next.  Average is not acceptable for anyone working at BCS.  Exceed customer expectations.  Remember it is better to under-promise and over-deliver than to over-promise and under-deliver.  Routinely do more than is expected. 
  • It Takes Months – It takes months to find a customer but only seconds to lose one.  It is much easier and less expensive to keep a current customer than to acquire a new one.  Our goal at BCS is to hold on to every customer with impassioned, fanatical customer service each and every day.
  • Performance Drives Success – In order to be successful as a company, and therefore make all of us successful as well, we must have exceptional performance in all that we do every day for every customer.  Success will follow and our customers will receive great value for their dollar.
  • The Future is Built Today – Each of us wand and need a future.  Our future at BCS is being built every minute of every day by the way we treat our customers and beat the competition!

BCS employees are asked to believe in themselves and the goals and objectives of our company and to believe that success begins today, not tomorrow, but right now.  Our employees know and understand that our customer’s expectations are high from the moment they first arrive under our care and that our company pledges to each and every customer that we will strive every day to meet their expectations.   BCS expects each employee to:
